Workshops & Presentations

A practical workshop or an inspiring presentation can often be all it takes to create awareness around topics such as sleep deprivation, pre-diabetes, or chronic stress, and kick-start better lifestyle choices.

Many of my clients began their wellness journey after attending a workshop or a presentation, because it was all they needed to realize that success was within reach and that there were real-life, down-to-earth solutions to their problems.

Workshops are for small groups up to 20. Presentations are for groups of any size. Workshops and presentations are usually offered in the Greater Seattle area only. Please call or email me so that we can talk about the details.

I attended a talk that Stella gave on sleep and learned so much from it that I could use in my daily life. She is so personable and friendly that it was easy to stay engaged with what she was teaching. I have actually done a lot of research on sleep and heard many new things from Stella that I didn't know already. She is well-informed and conveys the material in a way that is easy to understand.

Most popular wellness topics include:

  •   Optimizing sleep to boost metabolism and performance.
  •   Shopping smart for health and decoding food labels.
  •   Secrets from the French to stay in shape at any age.
  •   Stress management: strategies that work.
  •   Nutrition: what we should have learned at school.

Some classes can only take place in-person in the Greater Seattle area. Others can be provided over the Internet and you can attend from the comfort of your home, wherever you are in the world. Yes, I have taught several clients how to bake bread over Skype!

We can arrange a private class just for you, or I can teach you and a few of your friends if you want to split the cost and make it even more fun.  I also have a few classes scheduled regularly that you can join if your schedule allows for it. I can come to you, or you can come to me. There are a lot of possibilities for classes. Please, email or call me and we will discuss your needs.

Stella is very dedicated to our students and their learning. She wants them to have a good experience and is very organized and enthusiastic. Stella makes good use of the time, ensuring that her students enjoy not just the content area, but also being in class. We are really happy to have Stella teach with us and we appreciate how seriously she takes her teaching and all the extra things she does.

Private cooking/baking class – 2 hours- Starting at $49

Learn essential tips and techniques that will allow you to cook tasty and healthy meals for yourself and your loved ones. No cooking skills required. We will adjust the content of the class to your own needs and goals.

If you eat a lot a bread, I have for instance a great class where I teach you how to make a fantastic no-knead bread that requires only 4 ingredients and about 10 minutes prep work. Many of those who have taken this class have been making their own bread regularly since then. It's not just a fad! While you are at it, you can also learn how to make jam with little sugar for delicious toasts!

Stella also challenged me to expand my horizons regarding what I ate, taught me how to make bread, and helped me find the confidence to experiment with my cooking. Now I bake my own bread and my own sweet treats, and I cook with greater confidence. My kitchen, instead of being a place that is just there, or something to dread, is a place where I find pleasure, and sometimes *gasp* even fun! I didn’t think that was even in the realm of possibility for me.
